#GivingTuesday harnesses the potential of social media and the generosity of people around the world to bring about real change in their communities. Just about anybody has the power to encourage the donation of time, resources, and talents to address local challenges. It also brings together the collective power of a unique blend of crowdfunding partners and data ambassadors to encourage and amplify small acts of kindness. As a global movement, #GivingTuesday unites millions of people by sharing the capacity to care for and empower one another.

Similar to last year, WePay’s crowdfunding partners are organizing amazing initiatives to encourage people to participate in #GivingTuesday and contribute to numerous worthy causes. November 28 is quickly approaching and if you’re still not sure where to start, our suggestion is to visit any crowdfunding platform’s website, read through unique inspirational stories, and make a charitable donation to ones you resonate with. Below are some of our partners that are encouraging charitable giving this holiday season.

Classy provides all the tools and resources you need to make your #GivingTuesday campaign successful: a campaign planner, email templates, stock images for your campaign, best practices, and more.

Fundly provides allows all #GivingTuesday pages to be completely customized. Organizers can change the color scheme, add a personal logo, and make the page unique to their cause.

Fundrazr offers any organizer to launch a campaign with no platform fee. To participate, organizers just need to launch a campaign between now and November 28, 2017 and mention the hashtag “#GivingTuesday2017” in the description.

GoFundMe has a "Kid Heroes" initiative to support campaigns by kids, with the idea to invest in the future. They have a "Parents' Guide" which includes how to run a successful campaign, how to talk to kids about giving back to the community and provide thought leadership. GoFundMe will also surprise over 100 Kid Heroes campaigns with $1,000 each as part of #GivingTuesday.

To maximize the funds donated to all campaigns, Razoo is making #GivingTuesday fundraising free for nonprofits by waiving their fees. They will also help organizers make the most of #GivingTuesday with trainings, resources, tips, and tricks to help with campaign success.

YouCaring provides a wealth of resources including best practices, tips, and ideas to help make all fundraising campaigns successful.
