WePay CEO, Bill Clerico, emailed employees worldwide this week to reiterate the company’s commitment to openness, optimism, and opportunity. We’re sharing the email publicly to show how we live our values.

I am sure many of you watched the news this past weekend with interest, as I did.

WePay employs people across the globe – in red states & in blue states (and in other countries).  They all are important contributors to our work.  I’m proud that we are proof that amazing talent comes from all places, in all colors, speaking all languages and worshipping at all altars (or none at all).

We are committed to openness, optimism and opportunity, regardless of where you were born or where you come from (or who you love).  We believe in hiring the best person for the job, period.

We do not support policies that break these principles or our values, or that diminish our access to the best talent, wherever that may come from.

To anyone that is affected by this weekend’s executive order, please know that WePay has your back.  We will do whatever we can to help you and your family.

Please let me or our People team know if we can do anything to help, or if you have any concerns.
