We were excited to sponsor Ecommerce Hack Day in NYC on August 4th, 2012. It was a competitive 24 hour hackathon which resulted in ~29 submissions, 17 of which had a payments integration. And of those 17 payments integrations, we were delighted to find that the WePay API was used in 8!  This is a tweet from over that weekend: “The @wepay api has been the leading choice for the @ehd demos.”

Without further ado, here were the winning WePay API integrations from Ecommerce Hack Day:

TicketFu led by Holly Chen is an app which allows people to buy last minute tickets for Broadway shows and other events. The TicketFU team won a Macbook Pro!

Jeff Uthaichai and Rafael Gonzaque’s Team Mageful created a Magento plugin for the WePay API that won our plugin award. His plugin will be added to our gallery and his team won an iPad!
